Minecraft Mod Lets You Relive Classic Harry Potter Games

Minecraft and magic have mingled a few times recently. Spellcraft is one of the most popular of these magical mashups. It has more than 20,000 spells and new ways to utilize them. However, the fan-made EpicSpellsPlugin is definitely worth paying attention to too.



We published a post about the plugin back in May. It was remarkable enough at the time, but it seems that the development has been going on at an impressive rate since then. City2020 Morica_ from Reddit wrote in a post that they have added the ability to cast spells using no commands. You now just have to change the name of a stick to "Magic Wand" and then sneak away to draw symbols from the air.



The video showcases some of the spells and the ability to tie them as you see fit to different movements. CITY 2020 It's all very mystical and that's the vibe anything magical should strive for. Morica_ discusses a few more aspects in the comments, but the one that stands out is the one Morica_ mentions.



Morica_ said "Yes!" when asked about the possibility of creating custom spells. Although this is unlikely to be happening in the next few months, I do would like to see something similar. I also code spells to ensure that they can be used using pre-made items." This basically means that spells can be customized by using items already in the game. This could be a great method to live the Hogwarts Legacy without buying the game.
